To join my family celebrating Christmas, I decided to also buy two chicken to celebrate both Christmas and new year. Though I have two that I rear from scratch, but they are not big enough for me. So I proceeded to the market, and the size I used to buy for 4k before I was told is 7k each. I had to beg to pay 10k, for both, but at the end I paid 10,500, for both. One is already in the pot While the other one is still playing in the compound with my other two I have before. The chicken no even won lay egg make I chop before new year come choi 13 Likes 2 Shares

A carton of soft chicken is #14,000 while orobo chicken carton is #13,500, you find about 25 pieces in each carton which the seller will cut into 3 each making 75 pieces of big chicken 107 Likes 6 Shares |

I am still wondering when chicken became the official meat of choice for Christmas because as far as I can remember, goats and turkey were the standard then and chicken was a poor man's choice. As it is at the moment, chicken has overtaken them all and given turkey and goats a run for the money. Merry Christmas to you anyway 2special: 60 Likes 5 Shares |
