Policeman Assault Woman, Punches Her In The Face (Graphic Photo)

A woman identified as Sonia Ovedje was brutally assaulted by a policeman yesterday evening in Sapele, Delta State. HGS Media Plus reports.

HGS Media Plus report that the incident happened on Monday evening around 7:30pm along Jakpa road, Sapele, Delta State.

According to the victim, she was with her friend in a tricycle when some policemen stop them at Jakpa road and accused them of gossiping about them.

The policemen started harassing and searching them, in the process of searching, one of the policemen punched her in the face.

She however reported the matter to the police attached to Ekpan area, but the case was ignored by the officers on duty

HGS Media Plus gathered that the policemen involve in the assault has been know to be terrorising residents in the area.

They had to run. If they stayed, they will know whats up. Fact is the police has been enrolling criminals and psychos into its force. Once the recruitment process is corrected, alot will change.
