First, a lot more Democrat voters came out than did in 2016. Democrats have learned the lesson of 2016, when most of them stayed at home because Hilary was a evil woman, and we wanted Bernie. Go with the candidate you have, not with the candidiate you wish you had...

Second, a lot of young people came out to vote...and many young Americans lean Democrat.

Third, the economy. Yes, covid, but the economy(Bush I had a good economy with 16 months to go to the 1992 election. A lot happened in those 16 months.)

Overall in the US, there was a record turnout, but 66.7% of registered voters actually voted.

A lot of people came out to vote. Turmp's opponents did a good job of getting out the vote. But your assertion that more votes than registered voters is flawed.

There was no fraud. Trump lost because of a lot of factors, including that he did not do as well as advertised.

Classic example...Wisconsin. Trump won that state in 2016, with the promise of more jobs...which did not materailize. Same for many otther states. Wisconsin went to Biden this year.

(By the way, I am of the opinion that Trump should have won a second term, so that the American political elite start actually listening to their people. But Trump messed up...so back to the old guard)

In the US, you fill form when you become a citizen and voter's card is sent to your address.

You are in the system and that's all. It's permanent. You are not filling any form in future. They have their records.
