Cross-over Night/period: More Harm Than Good by Gagare1(m): 11:55pm On Dec 31, 2020
I don't really know who brought the idea of cross-over night, or the original motive behind it. However, I believe the effects of this idea is somehow doing more harm than good to the church of Christ.

1st : Any prophetic message from God is to be passed across to the intended audience asap and not only during a "special" period. God is not confined to speak only within a certain period. His message must not be withheld for any given time.

2nd: Many tend to be more grateful for seeing the first hours of the New Year (mainly due to hightened excitement) than they are for other days as if it took more from God to give them that. Gradually God's works of providence are grouped into "big" and "small" with the "small" works being underappreciated.

3rd: Regarding the "big" works, Kickbacks are offered to God in the form of resolutions. We all know how far they go. Most resolutions are abandoned as the excitement fades. This mindset permeates every area of ourlives, crippling our ability to walk with God because what pushes us is transient.

I will stop here for now because the effects are to many to mention.

EVERY MOMENT IS A GIFT FROM GOD. THANK HIM FOR IT.
