thanks sir. May God help me. I am a teacher Sha with rsg. I really want to be a good trader. I have been demo learning n I am still that
That's great. One of the reasons why you need to demo for an extended period is to build your confidence on your trading sytem. When you are successful on demo for a long period then your chances of being successful on a live account will be very much higher. I wish you good luck.

Secondly, stick to one strategy for now. Even if you losing, keep trading that strategy until you have a margin call, then you are be assured thats not a worthy strategy. Then you look for another.

I so much appreciate ur comment. I guess I need to seriously learn from a good trader n master it.

Well I have been in this for approximately two months n counting. I made some profit but some wrong trades blew up d account. Funny enough it was our boss that gave majority of d signals. I know it's not his fault because he likewise gave us many profitable signals

At this juncture, I don't even know what to do

2 month is very very very and very new #smile

You still have a long way to go

Would you rather spend 4years in the university and graduate without having a job or will you prefer to spend that same 4years in mastering how to trade and be self-employed for life? The question is upto you to answer, go back to demo account and continue your practice #Goodluck

The common characteristics of this generation newbie traders is that they hate correction, they're objective rather than being subjective.
You think forex is by reading babypips.com and demo trading. Hey little fool you still have a long way to go. I see you blowing up your demo trading account if you don't learn how to take corrections. Anyways you're still a small boy so you still have chances of learning forex if only you will stop being an idiot.
Don't reply me if you haven't fund your Forex account.

Forex traders n pride,

They are back into that band, the wait continues.........
Swingers are patient to avoid being trapped in a range, but to catch the big move, not anything less than 250pips for gold and nothing less than 100pips for GJ.....so will confirm again by today's close

Help needed.

Paying for signals isn't going to help you in the long run.
The essence of learning is to get a strategy that gives you an edge and suits your style and personality.
Backtest your strategy sufficiently, tweaking it till it gives you an edge in the market in the long run before you forward test(demo).
I'll advise you return to your drawing board.

There are lots of forex resources on youtube. Browse candlestick Bible and download it. The learning process in this game is quite more important than the earning process.

I'll never trade GBP again. Nonsense currency .. it just sat down there for 3 days, no movement angry

@ GabsonFX , djwalata

I have been demo trading with hot forex and Deriv for two months.

Hot Forex sometimes suddenly close all open trades without warning and if balance is running loss that moment, they will cut all one's funds.

I have not experienced same with Deriv.

Enquiry:

I watched a fx tutorial video on YouTube where the tutor said trades can be kept open for as long as infinity as far as one has healthy account balance

Is it normal for all currency pair forex brokers to automatically close all open trades on specific days?

If yes, how do one know that the broker will forcefully close trades before hand to prevent one's account from being wiped?

I have been avoiding it since It's been on that range for 2weeks, good only for day traders and scalpers for now. Best to be aware of this danger, but that time is coming where it will go 300.0pips (could be next week).

Sir I observed that you have a knack at both spotting and avoiding a range bound market. if I may ask, how do you spot a ranging market? your answer would help me cause my style of trading is trend following which has huge draw downs. and most times I spot ranging market late by then my stops would have been hit.

I guess it might b because ur FREE MARGIN is nearing ZERO, even running in NEGATIVE at dt moment ( based on ur current open positions running in losses as u said).
Trades are closed automatically when FREE MARGIN is getting to ZERO or NEGATIVE.
Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 21 by djwalata(m): 10:49pm On Jun 10
This is an example of a ranging market.
It gets trapped in a particular mini area without breaking upward/downward.
