Your man ayade has the most senseless and unachievable budget in Nigeria among the state governments.
His budget's performance/reality is always less than 30%. Go confirm it.

For a state that has the 5th largest economy in Africa and with over 20million people to cater for, N1.16trillion budget is barely enough.

Seunmsg!

The way you people lie to deceive gullible people is amazing.

Can you please tell how Lagos government cater for 20 Million people?

Most people have no drinking water, go to private hospitals, have private security, own their own generators, send their children to private schools, feed themselves without any benefit from the government, etc, etc.

So how does Lagos state government cater for 20 million people?

Please I like to know.

The one signed for 2020 all went directly to Tinubu's personal account. Lagosians are suffering for one powerful bullion van lord.

It is totally insufficient. To put it in context, Texas in USA has a budget of N48trln, for a state with 29mln people. And there counties (like local governments) have even bigger budgets than Lagos State. Even the CITY of Houston alone, with population of 2.5mln has a budget of N2trln.

So money available within Texas in totality for development, infrastructure etc will exceed N100trln.

N1.16 trillion / 23 million citizens equals N50434.

That is approximately $110 per citizen per annum. kiss

What farmlands and livelihood are being lost in Akwa Ibom state for example? And who told you the land where the sea and airports was built doesn’t belong to some people? People in Lagos also lost their land and means of livelihood to accommodate some of these agencies so what’s your argument again?

You cannot approbate and reprobate at the same time. You all were crying about Zamfara state government controlling the state gold revenue some weeks ago. We must come up with a unified system that rewards equally without discrimination.

Oil companies operating in Niger delta makes the region more vibrant same way companies operating in other states makes the states more vibrant. The argument is applicable to all states and not just Lagos.

Every state should get 13% of whatever they are generating either through mineral resources or tax revenue. The balance should be paid to the federation account for sharing based of revenue sharing law. That is what every forward looking person should be advocating for.

You are very intelligent Lagos contributed lion share in federal government revenue we need federal government to do the needful this state Accomodate the highest population on a norm its need more funding for its pressure on social amenities

If you in Abuja and read this and you people didn’t act ok it your position is useless act now this is the only time for you to act

E no easy like that o. A constitutional amendment is required to effect the kind of changes that is needed. Sadly, lawmakers from other region will always shut down such proposal. When Senator Remi Tinubu proposed the Lagos special status bill in the eight assembly, lawmakers from the east and north collaborated to shut down the bill. Hopefully, a general restructuring of the country will take care of the situation.
