Reprieve will soon come the way of the people of Ohafia local government area of Abia State as Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu has used the opportunity of golden jubilee marriage anniversary of Chief & Lolo Okali Kalu Ubaka to promise them that he would construct more roads in 2022.

Sen. Kalu the Special Guest of Honour at the event which took place on Wednesday in Ebem Ohafia also applauded the people of Ohafia for the support they have offered him politically by massively voting for him over the years.

The Senator representing Abia North further said Ohafia will join the league of Isingwu and others to enjoy dividends of democracy which he is poised to bring the people as their representative.

The celebrants, parents of Mr. Ifeanyi Okali are marking the 50th anniversary of their marriage which attracted friends and well-wishers from far and wide.

Sen. Kalu, Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate at the event congratulated the couple for the laudable feat of the golden jubilee, praying God to continually bless their union.

He further urged couples to imbibe tolerance and understanding for a lasting marriage, using that of Chief & Lolo Okali Kalu Ubaka as a reference point.

Among those who graced the event are the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Uko Nkole, Interpol Systems Consultant in Nigeria, Sir Chikwe Udensi, mother of Super Eagles star, Samuel Chukwueze, Mrs. Chukwueze, and a host of others.
