Cross River on that list pains me a lot. We have little or nothing to show.

Bro akwa ibom can Never catch up with Lagos even in 20 yrs time don't mind all those akwa ibom hypers.. apart from the serenity and good roads akwa ibom is nothing to write home about. Even the poverty in that state is second to none.. if not for bad roads ogun is far better than akwa and ibom even
You're wrong. With true federalism, you'll know how far.

Gov. Udom of Akwa ibom is a joke, a man with a mission to destroy Akwa ibom with unemployment and debts. Funny enough he is accomplishing it

I dont think Udom is the culprit here.

Victor Attah and Godswill Akpabio took the bulk of those loans

You guys, you ain't criticizing the right state.

Just take a look at
Bayelsa (a state with little population and less LGs), delta, cross river, Osun, Benue.

Just look at the debts they're owing with nothing to show.
At least we're seeing what Akwaibom is doing with her money.
I bolded Bayelsa and delta because they're oil producing states with nothing to show.

You are right.

Delta and Bayelsa despite huge allocations have little to show for the level of debt incurred.

As for Cross River, I am just shocked. Looks like hangover from the Tinapa project and others of the Donald Duke era is still weighing the state down. Unfortunately they couldn't commercialise those investments as planned

Atleast they had something to show for it. Udom is clearly clueless on how to govern AKS even the unemployment and poverty rate justifies it.

What you guys are not seeing is that apart from Cross River State, other states in the top borrowing list are states with the perceived capacity to repay based on their monthly inflow.

If you are perceived to have money, banks will give you more money because you can pay.

Not wrong to borrow but should be injected into development.

Niger Delta oil producing states with highest debt yet nothing to show for it.

Ebonyi debt is 41.37$ billion yet it has the best infrastructure more than rivers, Delta and bayelsa.

From 2010- date.
You can't what Akwaibom has achieved with her oil money, to what delta and Bayelsa achieved.

Stop saying nonsense.

Go through the above threads and tell me if delta or bayelsa can match the state.

In fact, you can create a thread for it and show us how delta or Bayelsa is being managed from 2010 - date.
