Nans Asks Ondo State Government To Open All Tertiary Institutions In The State!! by ashleyman(m): 9:51am On Jan 05, 2021 |
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS (NANS) JCC ONDO STATE NANS/OD/DPM/034 05-01-2021 OFFICE OF THE CHAIRMAN DEMAND FOR THE REOPENING OF ALL TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS IN ONDO STATE Sequel to the directive of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA that there won't be any fresh lockdown, we ask the ONDO STATE GOVERNMENT and the TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS MANAGEMENT to OPEN our SCHOOLS FOR RESUMPTION. Our students who have been at home since the COVID-19 outbreak last year had to suffer longer due to the ASUU strike. This has affected a lot of students psychologically, financially and has also wasted valuable days of our lifes. We also urge the ONDO STATE GOVERNMENT AND TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS MANAGEMENT to put in place ALL COVID-19 PRECAUTIONARY GUIDELINES and AN ISOLATION SPACE in all OUR TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS as the SECURITY OF THE LIVES OF OUR STUDENTS is PARAMOUNT. The Honorable Minister of Information, NIGERIA - Mr. Lai Mohammed announced that there wont be any fresh lockdown stating that from January 18, everywhere should be opened, in the same fate do we REQUEST our SCHOOLS be opened on the same said date JANUARY 18, 2021 The BABTEE-led administration would go round the schools on a tour to ascertain the guidelines for COVID-19 are in place and followed diligently. We appeal to all students to always wear their facemasks on Campus and in hostels to avoid the further spread of the virus as we await resumption. Viva Aluta!
