Hello brother,

I'm so sorry about what you're going through. Try and be strong, sir. This phase, like many others, would pass.

I noted these few things in your post:

You write. You sing.

Thankfully, these things don't need big startups.

I'm not a professional in either of the above but I've tried my hands in them. I've written and published a novel (currently writing my second novel) and I have a rap piece I did last year. In all, I didn't spend up to N30, 000. I gather people even make music right in their homes.

My point is, I think you should start putting your skills to use. Monetize your skills.

You could write, publish and sell. You could sing and sell your tracks too. It's all about packaging and good planning.

You talked about having a low self esteem. See, bro, I know absolutely nothing about singing. In this rap track I did, a lot of folks told me I rapped off beat. Well, I didn't let it affect me wrongly. I was happy I was able to pass a message across.

You here is a professional in the field so why the low self esteem? I think by the time you release your first piece (book/music), you'd get bolder.

Take your studies seriously. Aspire to leave school with a healthy grade. There are diverse paths you could pursue with your degree in English.

As I conclude, I'd like to encourage you to carry a positive attitude as you approach life.

At the end, we'd all be OK.

Best wishes.
