You miss the point. The constitution has already granted everyone freedom of expression and protest. The constitution does say that anyone who protests will get whatever they are protesting for, but it allows the person to protest. In the case of Nigeria, not only does government not grant the wishes of protest, it is also trying to stifle the right of protest by intimidating and killing protesters. Whether is ever granted the Biafran protesters or not, they have the right to protest. But they have been harrased, detained, declared terrorists and killed for exercising their right to protest.

The Igbo nation was consulted and they agreed to be part of Nigeria? When and where did this happen? If the Igbo nation becomes independent tomorrow and those in Ebonyi later decide they want to become a country on their own, they are welcome. Why should anyone be held against their will? It's a matter of subjective views how you interpret the Fg's actions towards protesters,and I don't have the desire to go into analyzing that. However, you should note that some of these protesters actually cause nuisances to others who just want to go about their peaceful lives.
The facts are these:
