"Is the only way to kill viruses science and medicine, and the fact that the federal government still don't understand." "We are the real virus resistance not COVID. We are in the fight against more serious than COVID virus. You know what kind of viruses worse than COVID? The division and the incompetence of the virus.

Looking at the report we can see that tests were over one million and positive cases were at over 100k. This equates to 10% of the total showing signs of corvid 19. Potentially in a population of 100m about 10m can be affected.

Unfortunately in the Nigeria were we live there are lots of careless, reckless and irresponsible characters exhibited by the leaders and citizens. Listening to reports of those who got treated one cannot doubt the fact that corvid 19 is real and everyone must take serious measures to stay safe. We hear of bodies getting carried away every moment and they are not counted among the already dead counted.

Ignorance and foolishness make our citizens think that corvid is only meant for the wealthy and the poor can brave it. Some say it is malaria and typhoid. The rich have diabetes and hypertension, just as the poor also suffer it. The rich use their wealth to secure oxygen tanks and live, while the poor who cannot afford oxygen and medical fees lose their lives and never get reported in the news. We only hear news when one wealthy person out of the millions there lose their lives.

On Nairaland we have follow follow youths who just say things as they have nothing meaningful to say. Perhaps they await the day that "malaria" type hits them or members of their family. I have seen those who recovered and I thank God for them all. Everyone's live is precious to us especially as our country passes through these difficult times.

Kindly speedily advise anyone with signs of fever to report to the nearest hospital around. There are many government hospitals and health care centers in all local government areas.

Why is it that since when the Kogi state rejected their over-bloated figures in its state, their numbers are no longer increasing?
I think it's all about politics, Bello said he won't play politics with the lives of his people. The Virus is real, but those bloated figures are strategies to loot funds at the detriment of the citizens.Kogi state Governor do not partake and find their strategies inhumane for the reasons best known to him. I'm a student of the Kogi uni, trust me there's little or no preventive measures in place to curb the virus, There believe here is that Covid doesn't exist.

Denial of reality is a mental illness that is NOT confined to Nigeria. Look at the antics of Trump's loony followers in the USA, where they even go to the extent of physically attacking sensible people who choose to wear masks, when spotted on the street. I will not be surprised to learn that Trump losers actually start shooting dead people wearing masks, on the streets, before then facing arrest, followed by a swift trial leading to life in jail for murder.

Those who choose to ignore the danger of the corona virus, are far more likely to catch and spread the deadly disease, only to recant their earlier denials when it is too late, and they are struggling to breath on their hospital death-beds. This time around, the price for terminal ignorance is certain death.
