Federal government give me vac-cash. Instead of this government to do a study to understand peoplye approval of vaccine you are buying for people that will not take it. When I am sure that more than 90 percentage of Nigerians will not take it. |

I will bank on this logic: if everyone else takes the vaccine then I don't need to do so. I am covered. I will not risk potential side effects all in the name of protecting myself from something my system can easily get rid of. |

Pfizer Vaccine that is being heavily rejected in the US by Americans is what this copy copy clowns are bringing to Nigeria. I pity anyone dumb enough to fall for this rubbish scam, ask yourself why after 40 years there is no vaccine for HIV but there is one in less than a year for Covid. 1 Like |

If Nigerians come out to take this vaccines, they will be the greatest hypocrites ever. A large chunk of the population never believed there was a virus so why come out to take something you believe was non existent |

For me the issue is not the cost of the vaccine. Its the source. The FG is silently peddling Chinese and Russian vaccines while assuring key government officials of the Pfizer vaccine. I personally have doubts over the efficacy of the Chinese and Russian vaccines because I am not sure that they have been exposed to global reviews. But most importantly the recourse ( in the event of long term complications) is extremely low on both Russian and Chinese vaccines. There is unlikely to be any compensation in such cases. I would prefer that the government do the following 1. Ensure the provision of the BCG for children 2. Enter into talks for the Indian vaccine - 70% of all the vaccines are being manufactured in India and the Indian variant requires fridge temperatures 3. Limit the first 50,000 vaccines to the chain of command- President, Vice, CJ, Speakers of Houses, Security chiefs ( top 5) and state governors, deputies and speakers. There is no need to vaccinate NASS - no one knows what they actually do. My view |

Covid 19 has killed fewer than 1500 persons since over nine months it surfaced in the country, but how many have died from malaria, HIV, tuberculosis and the rest other diseases over the same period, your guess is right is over a million plus and no emergency has been declared too. This govt just keep fooling themselves & stealing out the country. Over half a trillion for a vaccine, this is completely senseless |
