Focus: Do not be wise in your own Eyes

Wisdom is far from any man who fails to acknowledge God in all his ways. A man is not wise until he comes to understand and acknowledge the fact that the way of the Lord is the way of wisdom!!!

In the garden of Eden, the devil deceived Eve into believing that being wise in one eye is better than obeying God's instructions. The aftermath was that evil was introduced into their lives. Today, the devil is still in the business of making people take a decision without heeding to God's instructions.

The suggestion of the devil to people today is that they don't need to seek God's will to know who to marry, partner with in business, the career to chose, the location to live or site an enterprise etc. but to shine their eyes and use common sense. Whatever suggestion that appears as wisdom that prompts a man to disobey God's principles will end up bringing evil and destruction to him. Honour God with your decision and do not be wise in your own eyes.
