Former Nigeria Senator and Lawyer, who represented Anambra West and Onitsha Senatorial district in the Nigeria Senate, during the second republic has died. Senator Barr. Onyeabo Chukwunedum Obi (Os"Oji Nnewi) died late yesterday evening. His death was confirmed by his younger brother, Mr. Zik Obi. Before his death, Senator Barr. Onyeabo Obi was the Chairman Nzuko-Ora Nnewi Board of Trustee. He was born on November 20, 1938 to the prominent family of Late Senator Zik. C. Obi (Eze-Onunekwulu-Igbo) He went to London School of Economics, London University. He was Director Nigerian Rubber Board 1977-1979.
