Banditry has put Katsina State in the news for the wrong reasons. Hundreds of Nigerians have been killed, more have been abducted and thousands displaced, with villages decimated, women raped and farms destroyed. Daily Trust reports what triggered banditry in the state and how the situation escalated. https://dailytrust.com/how-katsina-became-hotbed-of-banditry 2 Likes 2 Shares

Is it not the same Katsina that our darling president spent over one week relaxing with his family to observe Christmas? The type of fake news which the south west churns out daily about the north is getting too much. What shall you people gain by writing bad things about the peaceful northern Nigeria with very affluent populations, do you know how we enjoy life in kano or kaduna and even Borno state. The north is much safer than the south west. 23 Likes 1 Share |

Kaduna1stson: South West doesn't churn out news. Instead, most mainstream media houses are based in the region. That said, the president having a vacation over there doesn't negate the fact that Katsina is Nigeria's banditry hotbed. 9 Likes |

Hypocrisy is when a Yoruba man who has never left Ogbomoso in his life asks Igbos who are almost in every village in Nigeria including Ogbomoso to 'build' bridges if they are to seek for 2023 presidency. 13 Likes |

The first lady of a certain country called the Zoo, flew to Dubai for over a month. And she cited "security reasons" as her excuse. But the thing is, not everyone has the luxury of flying out. But I think we have the luxury of common sense. And one aspect of the common sense is this : that man in Aso Rock CANNOT be Buhari. While releasing the pigeons, I got to see the back of his neck in this video : and no wrinkles at all -- unlike the real Buhari. I got to see his hands, very young. Very young and light-coloured. All presidents of first world countries grow old and have formed serious wrinkles including : Putin, Trump, Merkel etc. But in Nigeria where we have dumb brains leading us, all of a sudden they have the key to a "forever-young" panacea for the Presidency abi? All of una head no correct! Pay attention to his hands and the back of his neck, and also take note of how his plastic ears bent under pressure of nose mask, while the ears of all others around him stood firm : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsrDlyQNHbs 7 Likes 3 Shares |

agwom:Òmo, see excuses This regime will blame anything but themselves These drugs have been in existence before now, why are the drugs suddenly over active since Buhari came into power There's a school of thought that believed that this is a conspiracy to deliberately displace indegenes of these places and replace them with the FULANIS and I think it's playing out right before our own very eyes With these people destroying, killing and occupying the place Kastina is Buhari's own state Now, the question is, if Buhari cannot secure a state, how can he secure a country Isn't it said that charity begins from home 18 Likes 2 Shares |

The vagabonds in the north don't deserve the south. They have brought so much sorrow and blood to this country and have contributed less than they took. The north should be separated from the south of the south wants to truly progress. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The police and military should just continue killing them all. Don't give them money because they will use it to fund more attacks. |

Banditry has become a plague in the north. I thought it started in plateau state and Benue state in early and late 2000 where this bandits where contracted to cause mayhem in farming communities that don't tolerate Fulani herdsmen and their cows in their farms 3 Likes |
