The second Republic lawmaker, Dr Muhammad Junaid, says the administration under President Muhammadu Buhari has failed woefully, while describing him (Buhari) as “a threat to the security of the country”.
According to Junaid, “As regards the statement made by the President concerning security in the country
generally and northeast, I think President Muhammadu Buhari is been economical with the truth.
“First, I believe within this week, there are three or four attacks. And any leader who can give himself pass mark not to talk of half when the situation on ground is the reverse is not sincere or honest with people of this country.
“Nobody likes conflicts, lack of security but it is absolutely unbearable for leaders to invent lies in order to give himself credits for what he has not done and for which he cannot claim credit for.
“In addition also, it does not add any value or credibility to the government, the party, military and
the President himself.
“In the words of former President Lincoln, once a leader has lost the confidence of the citizens, he can
never regain it.

“He proceeded by saying that you can deceive some of the people some of the time, you can deceive all of the people some of the time or … But he finished that quote by saying nobody succeeds by deceiving all the people all the time.
“What is evident in Nigeria now is that this government have nothing to offer. They believe they can lie their way through to the end of their tenure, 2023. And that to them is what they call an achievement.
“Unfortunately for them, history is never written by who want to praise themselves. Somebody, whether we are alive or not, will write a more objective history especially from the time these crises of Boko Haram, banditry started.
“They have failed woefully. Nigerians including former heads of states have come out openly to say that Nigeria is already a failed state. I can’t see how any leader can come out and start claiming credit and giving himself kudos when he did nothing.
“I see not only his statement but I see he himself as a threat to the security of the country.
“Because if you cannot tell the people you govern the truth you are a positive threat to them. Because only when the people know the truth they will be able to
follow you.”

bandits killing people etc. without him finding solutions to all these problems, buhari is a disaster to nigeria.

BUHARI is a failure back to back!!!

He's actually the biggest threat to Nigeria as a country at the moment! Most of the things he has done within the last 6 years will hunt this country for the next 60 years, that's if Nigeria survives this man. He has reopened old wounds by going back in time to reintroduce hate and massacres that characterized his youth! Old wounds that were healing slowly! He steals from one part of the country and uses that to take care of another part of the country! Even going as far as turning Niger republic into another Nigerian state! Openly, with no shame nor remorse! The chap is not even bright! He's not a deep thinker. Very polarising! Totally incapable of inventive politics! No spark, No fire!

I mean his attempt at institutionalising fulani hegemony over the rest of us in this"modern times" is most probably the dumbest political move ever made by a Northern politician. He's is so convinced and so desperate with the project he has allowed his ethnic henchmen to kill and main tens of thousands across Nigeria, thereby stiffening hate and disgust for the fulani across the nation. What that means, is that for the fulani to still be at the top, anybody who takes over from him must be fulani and must be willing to spill more blood to maintain fulani domination! How feasible is that in a Nigeria with so many other restless ethnic groups? The man is a curse!

The sad thing about Nigeria is whatever you think is bad now would get worse after the next election... If you think insecurity is bad now wait for post-2023

No true leader makes such a derogatory statement. I hate to criticize beings for I am also human but it is also good we call a spade a spade.

The president lacks the quality of a true leader. He may have good intent but his DNA strands lacks the prerequisites to advance his intent, that is, if the intent is good.
