The same law that even when they pass law school and become lawyers, its 20k salary they will be seeing up and down

Practising law in Nigeria is same as offering legal services in the poverty capitals of the world I.e if you are looking for poor people on the planet you need not look further anywhere else on the planet than in Nigeria

So whether council of legal education allows them to come to law school or not it’s the same. Most will end up selling handbags on Instagram

I have seen a lawyer practising law in this Nigeria for the last 25 years still living in a rented apartment

My people run from this whole barrister the law the law thing oooo

“ the turnaround this and this

This is every Nigerian dream that one day they will blow and thier situation will change. Even musicians from there songs you will and can tell they knew they were going to blow and they ended up blowing despite what their imaginary enemy said

Please ooo there are countless millionaires just live there are countless traders, being a millionaire is nothing new. You can sell purée water and make millions from it

But when you see law profession once again before your children start cursing you run oooooo

Seems you couldn't comprehend the point I was trying to make, am in no way defending any Lawyer. In life generally, there is no "smooth road" to success, the fact that there are Lawyers struggling does not mean that no Lawyer is balling, it applies to all profession and like I said before; it is a "Nigerian factor". I have seen Engineers, Doctors and many others with varieties of degrees struggling to eat so your conclusion is baseless. You said a Lawyer has been struggling for 25years, of course there is no automatic ticket to making it once a person graduates from the Nigerian Law School. Speaking also from experience, I know and have met countless Lawyers who are millionaires, yes and one (Barrister Essien Esq.) told me that his breakthrough came the day he handled a case that fetched him a whooping 12million naira and ever since, he has been cruising on millions. Even twins born on the same day have different destinies so you don't expect two different persons to have similar destinies simply because they are both Lawyers. If you do not like the Legal Profession then that's your choice but it will amaze you to know that 30% of persons reading Law today have already made it, go to the Law school and see Politicians, Retired civil servants and many professionals in other fields already with Masters degree yearning to be called to the Bar, take Kanayo O. Kanayo for example plus several others. It's a prestigious profession but it's not meant to be enjoyed by everybody. Those that employ and pay all those Lawyers the 20k you mentioned, are they not also Lawyers. Don't forget, those employers were also once paid "20k" by others before they got their own breakthrough and became employers. Nothing good comes easy especially in our Nigeria of today and life itself is turn by turn, destinies are not the same.

For every barrister Essien there are millions of other lawyers who are waiting for that pay and are still waiting till today yet, life in Nigeria keeps becoming unbearable as the years accumulate. I

Have you ever gone to the market before, don’t you notice all types and all manners of people from all walks of life go there to buy things,

Never live your life that one day destiny will smile on you, I corrected you the first time yet you are still giving me examples some lawyers were once paid 20k so u will suffer for 10 years so you can become a boss too to pay 20k to the next suffer head generation

Please for the sake of your children if not yourself think twice, if after 2 years after law school you don’t have a car and you call yourself a Nigerian lawyer then I suggest you rethink and evaluate your life well

It’s not compulsory to suffer in life before making it

Suffering is not a virtue that you preserve it isn’t

From my first comment, you will understand the exact point I made, I quoted your comment initially because I wanted to clarify a point to you that what is affecting many Nigerian Lawyers is not because of the fact that they read Law in school but the "Nigerian factor", every Nigerian graduate faces the dilemma of "Starting life" immediately after graduation. You attacked the Legal Profession and even cited a Lawyer who has been struggling for 25years. All the examples I cited are just so you can know that while some persons have to struggle to make it big in the legal profession and in Nigeria generally, many others get everything easily and even become employers. Destinies differ. You don't criticize a Profession as Noble as the Legal Profession to that extent. If you don't like it and don't want your children to study it then that's fine, the Law school still admits thousands annually. The fact that unemployment rate is high in Nigeria does not prevent Universities from producing graduates annually so your logic shouldn't be based on Lawyers alone, it's a national problem affecting all fields.
#I rest my case.

Yes I attached the profession because there is nothing noble about it here in this Nigeria the only exception on this whole planet

It’s just about the same profession as any other line of field here in Nigeria. Law school that never even wanted us to express ourselves and yet we were being trained to be lawyers.

Now putting into context as to how lawless Nigeria generally is, maybe this is what gets into people head that lawyers are useful in Nigeria, there is so much lawlessness you wonder who on earth can help over nonsensical things that would never happen in other countries.

Not to deviate from what I insisted on yes, the profession is overrated, and yes the pay is poor and yes you must never take it seriously because one day you want to blow from it after a certain number of years. You might never blow or when you blow it might be too late.

What about the countless Lawyers who are millionaires, are they also celebrities?. Kanayo was only called to Bar last year, people have been balling since the 20th century. I only cited him to prove to that guy that many people go into it not just to make money but for the prestige. I know of an Army General who is currently studying Law in a Nigerian University, he goes to lectures with his escorts, I also know a politician who is a member in the Enugu state House of Assembly; he is currently in the Law school, I know of a doctor who had to go back to re-write WAEC, he is currently studying Law. I know of a young man with Masters in another field, he is currently studying Law, I know of several other retired civil servants who are in Law sch and practicing Lawyers. Visit any of the Law schools and you will be surprised to see several rich and working class people from other fields reading their asses off to become Lawyers.
I just hate it when Nigerians rush into conclusion when they see a couple of lawyers struggling, it's the Nigerian factor so you won't blame them. The profession requires patience, hardwork and consistency, a single hit of a Lawyer can double the life earnings of many civil servants in Nigeria, we have witnessed many with such testimony.

I said you're dumb young man. The German language is only needed for day to day life outside campus and for those who wish to do part-time jobs.

As for the duration of your studies, you're taught in English, strictly English. If this is how you would have turned up, your parents suppose allow you go learn work instead.
