With many already known stars in the industry like Odunlade Adekola, Lateef Oladimeji, Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele leading the pack in the film making industry.

Fast-rising Nollywood actor, Adewole Femi Apefe Waheed is working assiduously to break into the industry and leaving no stone unturned in ensuring his career also gets to the peak.

He cut his tooth in the film industry when he joined Saheed Balogun Film Production in 2003 to understudy the legendary actor.

The Osun born thespian who is fast becoming a favourite in Nollywood and the Yoruba film industry is presently working on new Television Series, ready to be premiered on major satellite and terrestrial stations soon.

Apefe as he’s fondly called in the industry has also worked on several projects amongst whom are Iyawo Adedigba by Yewande Adekoya, The Cockers by Lateef Adedimeji and Obun by Shotayo Shobola.

“With my unique talent, creativity and ability to interpret roles effortlessly, I believe I’ll make a lot of changes in this industry, Apefe boasts.

His mentors include veteran Indian actor, Shah Rukh Khan, Ibrahim Chatta and Yomi Fash-Lanso to mention a few.

However, with the emergence of this young star, it’s obvious that he’s a beacon of hope in the industry, stressing the fact that the future of the Nollywood is in safe hands.
