A businessman, Mr. Thomas Murphy has called on youths to embrace entrepreneurial development as a way to contribute to national development.
Mr. Murphy made the call when he hosted leaders of Glory-Land Community Development Association in Iju-Atan, Ota, Ogun State.
He said there was no easy path to success and that youth must leave “Yahoo-yahoo” and be prepared to take the risk of venturing into legitimate businesses if they want to be relevant in other aspects of life.
Mr. Murphy commended the community leaders for their sacrifice in ensuring peace and development of the community.
In a remark, the Baale of Iju-Ota, Chief Nurjeem Alagbe, thanked the residents and the Community Development Association for their role in ensuring peace to reign.
The Chairman of Glory-Land Community Development Association, Iju-Atan-Ota, Ogun State, Mr. Olumide Sunday said the support of well-meaning individuals had made the community thrive.
On his part, the Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee, Iju Unit, Mr. Musibau Olasukanmi acknowledged the role of community leaders in securing the community from unnecessary chaos especially during the recent increase in criminal activities due to the lock down and the Endars protests.
