This is the disadvantage of having an illiterate and a tribalist as a president, he will always be calling black "white while calling purple " green. |

drlateef:Oga leave turenchi, were u paid to type here? People don't enter that forest without a permit from government. I could remember when I was around that area, hunters will get government permit before visiting the forest. But u know Fulani's now, they believe they own Nigeria, they can enter anywhere without anybody challenging them. That's why some of them lost their cattle to thunder strike when they led their cattle into a shrine the other time. No southerner will encroach government land. 2 Likes |

lastmessenger: Your point is well presented. It is in the best interest of the fulani herdsmen to comply with governor Akeredolu directives to get registered. If they fail they should know that AMOTEKUN will be drafted to arrest defaulter and seize their cattle. ABUJA AUTHORITY can not save them. It is wrong for their members to be banking on ABUJA POWER to save them. 1 Like |

All Yorubas should stand behind Akeredolu on this issue including Yorubas who praise PMB constantly. You should all remember we come from a culture where it is important to understand when a supposed good person is failing and we are then compelled to act and confront this erring person for the greater good of society. This is the case with PMB. I was a passionate and committed supporter but not anymore. Some things are too obvious to be defended. It is not the Yoruba way. We must ask why Fulanis are now so brazen and expansionist under Buhari and never before under any other Northerner. We must also confront the truth of how the greater Fulani group, taking in many nations outside Nigeria, now want to converge on our nation particularly the SW and East. Is this not appearing like an onslaught towards an expansionist agenda that may be predicated on a violent takeover of the land and asset of others? Let us not get too sophisticated for our own good. We should be asking questions about how big groups of Fulanis intercepted in Oyo spoke no Nigerian language and could only converse in French. This is a very dangerous development that shows we are in dangerous times. We need to drop our know-it-all sophistication sometimes and just back our own leaders to do what is right for our region and people. I expect the PMB-led government to face-off against Akeredolu. They did just that, through Malami, during the formation of Amotekun. As a former staunch PMB supporter, I am firmly behind Aketi here. As a parting question, can I ask how many of us Yorubas, as intelligent as we think we are, were aware of the name Miyetti Allah before PMB became President? I certainly was not and perhaps this is because they knew their place before PMB. Now their leaders are Sabre-rattling against our elected Governors daily. What is behind their brazen arrogance under PMB? 1 Like 1 Share |

Religion and ethnicity have beclouded the sense of judgement of Nigerians in position of authority and it is evident in their decision making. |

“However, if a migrant becomes violent or engages in acts of terrorism as some of the herdsmen have done, the governor, being the Chief Security Officer of the State, has the power to ask them to leave. Very simple.... You came and don't want to stay in peace then you have to leave. ABCD is simple but hard to understand it 1 Like |
