Igboho appears the real deal. The likes of Gani Adam's are now too tainted by politics to be of use to anyone.

This is why some of us caution Yorubas to beware of leaders who try to be all things to all men.

Gani Adams is a sectional or cultural leader yet he will encroach on Tinubu's political turf and foolish Yorubas will praise him.

Whereas Tinubu accepts his limitations as a Politician, with eyes on leading Yorubas to controlling the centre politically as Awolowo tried to do, and never tries to berate or undermine the likes of Adams or Igboho in their traditional roles.


There is no comparison. Igboho is a Yoruba regional generalissmo ready to get in the trenches for his people.

Abeg fashi attention-seeking IPOBians. They always have an axe to grind with Yorubas even at the worst times when their petty, childish and vindictive attention-seeking is not needed.

Firstly, Sunday, like Tompolo, was made from the field.

He became who he is by proving himself in the jungle. Every Fulani knows him. They know the havoc he can cause.

With all due respect to the Aare, he has not faced what Sunday has faced (apart from government arrests). Sunday is a general made on the field. But i can't say the same of Aare.

While both has the ideology of Yoruba first, Sunday is much more belligerent.
