The conference of yoruba lawyers has thrown its weight behind Sunday Adeyemo, otherwise known as Sunday Igboho of his recent call of fulani to leave Oyo community.

Federal government has called for has called for the arrest of the activist after he alledgely led some youths to eject fulani from their residence in Igbangan, Ibarapa LGA of Oyo state.


The house of sarkin Fulani was attack by with 11cars and livestock razed.

Addressing newsmen on Sunday, the group said it has line up 50 Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) to stand as legal Representatives for Igboho should the police arrest him.

The group tweeted on Sunday night , conference of yoruba lawyers dare Buhari to arrest Sunday Igboho, line up 50 Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) to stand as a legal Representatives .

The conference of legal luminaries also mock Buhari , ask him to go after his criminal fulani terrorist and not Sunday Igboho, the liberator of his people.

This is good response, I'm proud of the sense of unity and patriotism. Particularly Igboho's activism has far reaching outcomes because it will no doubt reset fulani brain and put them on notice that there is a threshold to what my people will tolerate. It is good to see that Igboho has now given voice to many who before now had no such audacity out of fear. This is good.

What I would encourage lawyers to do is to be proactive on the matter, not reactive. There is lessons learnt on similar issues.

1.
When Nnamdi Kanu was locked up, he had lawyers and they succeeded in getting bail but fg refused to release him.

2.
After Yoruba killed and demolished fulani settlement in Ife police swooped in and carted Yorubas to prison in Abuja. They had lawyers. After court granted their release they were not released.

3.
Omoyele Swore had lawyers. He was released by court. Fg rearrested him right there on the court premise. It took threat from US to get fg to let him go.

4.
Endsars protesters had lawyers. Till today some of them are still in jail.


Our Southern lawyers and their decorative SANs have no effect on court ruling. Fg will not honor or even pay attention to them and Igboho will suffer in prison.

So these lawyers have enough case samples to begin to charge seriki fulani to court for criminal banditry and colluding with criminals kidnap and murder citizens. While he knew of criminality perpetrated by fulani herdsmen he failed to report or get justice for their victims.

Instead of talking of what will happen if Igboho is arrested, these 50 SANs can impress us by proactively getting justice for victims of seriki's atrocities in Igangan. Charge seriki to court and argue for his conviction.

Yet, because they are an emptily egotistic people, they will try to attack and belittle Yorubas always in the belief this hides their envy of Yorubas.

Just look at their obsession with Lagos and Tinubu. They are always crying more than the bereaved over Lagos they covet more than anything in the universe and constantly attacking domineering Tinubu they so wish was their own Igbo leader to the point it hurts physically.

Per their nature, Igbos always lash out negatively against Yorubas because people of the SW and their leaders have made them eat humble pies time and time again despite their huge egos and over bloated estimation of their own ability and self-worth.

For example, Igbos claim to be supermen yet Tinubu, in the modern era, has bested every Igbo politician and is even the mentor and benefactor of literally hundreds of Igbos humble enough to come and seek his wisdom and guidance.

Ask yourself which contemporary Yoruba leader today an Igbo equivalent of Tinubu, if such can ever exist, has nurtured, mentored and guided to national prominence or greatness.
