Depends. Also, starvation isn't the only possibility...hypothermia (Harmattan is affecting the North), fell from a height, wild animals, snake bite, etc

Hiking especially in Abuja is no longer what it used to be. It is now a group of young boys and girls who go out to seek fun and make new relationships. He drowned in the waterfall. Just spoke with someone who went on the same hike..

He enter the water under the fall and was pulled in and drowned. They called jazz men the next day who did a ritual and brought his body out.

These hikes are dangerous and there should be briefings before embarking on them. Water is dangerous but everyone even non-swimmers want to jump in

When I was in the higher I institution there was a cemetery bordering the campus. I was walking a lonely path and up ahead I saw about 5 guys walking through to the cemetery. When they got there, they surrounded 1 of them and they all gave that guy a good beating ( kicking , slapping, punches etc) I just stood in a distance watching. After a while they all stopped and left . To my surprise even they guy that chopped beating followed them just like some stupid girls that continue to follow abusive boyfriends. I was shocked.

One of the guys died inside the swimming pool without them knowing. He took tramadol, was so weak and went inside the water but was too weak to swim out. He died there and his friends thought he was having fun because he knows how to swim very well. He is an expert.
When they prepared to leave, they couldn't see him only to check inside the water to find him dead and gone.

He went with a group, he wasn't missing , he drowned at a water fall all efforts to saved him by fellow members of the group proved abortive as the current was so strong and he was carried away. Professional divers where the ones who retrieved his body the following day. Also this particular group this is the first time such incident is happening because before every hike scouts go to scout the place and seek out safe areas and areas to avoid. This was just an unfortunate incident.
