igbsam: Keloid treatment is basically the same thing most places in Nigeria i.e local steroid injections and silicon based creams. However, I will recommend iris medical foundation. but be warned, Prof. can be very expensive |

Hi Poster, I believe the best thing to do is to go to a Fed Govt owned teaching hospital in your town. ... go thru the Out Patient dept, they will know if it is a keloid or hypertrophic scar If keloid, you will be referred to the skin clinic This method is cheaper than going to a private clinic...and gives you the SAME result....a series of scheduled visits is involved Only snag is the extra bit of time you spend at a teaching hospital Do this, and you can use the extra money saved with this method to get yourself a treat, or get someone a present Cheers!!!..... If keloids, trust me, you will be happy with the treatment 1 Like |
