Fulani people believe that by killing,kidnapping and driving fear into the people, they can take over lands in the South and eventually take over those lands permanently.

All these alleged herdsmen are truly herdsmen. The reporters are only trying to be politically correct by not coming out straightforward.

The herdsmen that hoisted a flag in an Ekiti town (orin-ekiti) took over a large expanse of land and put their flag at a marked territory threatening the locals to stay away. True to their threat, they murdered a farmer in that community. This was at the begining of Fáyemí's government. The townsfolk later realized that Fáyemí could not be relied upon and was likely to be a sell out. They decided to take their own destinies in their hands

Fáyemí had initially planned to carve out land from that town for the purpose of ruga exercise that his father in Abuja wants to do. The townsfolk still angry from the initial Fulani illegal occupation and subsequent murder of an indegene took decisive action.

They warned Fáyemí to shelve his stupid idea of keying in to ruga plans and never to even think of bringing the Fulani into their community for that purpose.

Then they went further to themselves evict the Fulanis completely from their town. This included those thst has been in he town for many years without much problems because they are the ones that brought in, hosted and shielded the militant Fulanis who hoisted the flag and killed the indigene.

All of them, not sparing one, were all evicted and Fáyemí could do nada.

Herdsmen attach will not stop. It is the FGN that is trying to resettle Fulanis in Africa in Nigeria. They have used Ruga, Grazing and the Water resources bill. But these did not work. They now decide to be brazen this time around due to the fact that the leaders of the different regions think they will hand power to them. Imagine why Umahi, Wike and Tinubu are acting against the interest of their own people.
