Orlu in Imo State is on fire as we speak, not because the city is at war or having security challenges but the fact that the Nigerian Soldiers and security operatives want to showcase force of war against Operatives of Eastern Security Network to pave ways for Fulani herdsmen to occupy Eastern forests.

The decision by Nigerian Forces is not my problem per say rather the choice to take it on civilians should the Nigerian Troops lose to ESN as to settle scores and turn the civilians against ESN.

The unfortunate thing we are observing online is this hatred against the Igbos that though majority of Nigerians are against open day grazing and unwanton destruction of Farmlands they still echo and demand the Army to kill the Igbo civilians in Orlu in place of ESN.

Take for instance the stupidity of Oyigboupdate, who has violated Nairaland rules in his several comments is allowed to roam free the forum demanding the brutal massacre of people of Orlu in a bid to settle scores with ambition to humiliate the Igbo's in Nigeria and subjugate them to second class citizens. What a hatred as he does this with his numerous supporters of like minds who favour second genocide.

It is incumbent on Nairaland to rein on these anti-humanity criminal support and hate speeches.

The Soldiers should face Eastern Security Network and leave the civilians out of it as is done in the Northern Nigeria were civilians are differentiated from Bandits in the fight against militias.

Enough is enough.

The South and North Central is fighting the common enemy yet politics is all what most ethnic jingoists think about instead of life of the people and food security.

Fulanis are not that bad but the dangerous killer and destructive herdsmen should be disarmed and made to conform to 21st century system of rearing livestocks.
