Below is Gani Adams in all his glory. Someone who trades the wellbeing of the SW for money and contracts to then openly admit it.

Tinubu saw through their lack of sincerity and that is why he has always sidelined most sectional and cultural leaders and groups.

Tinubu knew most sectional and cultural leaders like Gani Adams, Yinka Odumakin etal are treacherous and potentially very dangerous saboteurs of the Yoruba cause because of their dedication to money and government patronage above all else. They can be compromised at any time by the highest bidder.

He knows they are all turn coats who can sell Yorubas for money. This is why BAT has always tried to limit their influence and this is why they hate him.

Imagine Gani waxing lyrical about GEJ everyone knew, at the time, was trying to use Yoruba Obas and cultural leaders to undermine the electoral will of the Yorubas he had sidelined and treated with disdain for four 4 years.

The National Coordinator of the Oodua Peoples Congress, Gani Adams, said his group is opposed to a former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu and his party, the All Progressives Congress, because Mr. Tinubu instructed governors of the South-West states not to deal with or empower the OPC.

Mr. Adams said this at a press conference in Lagos on Tuesday in reaction to reports that his organization plans to disrupt the forthcoming general elections.

He said while Mr. Tinubu plotted to destroy the OPC by denying it of government patronage, President Goodluck Jonathan has been magnanimous, awarding pipeline protection contracts to leaders of the organisation and other militants across the country.

“Deliberately Tinubu instructed all the governors (South-west governors) don’t work with OPC, don’t empower OPC, don’t associate yourself with OPC,” Mr. Adams said.

“Ask our people from the south west, if you threat us very well, why should we get an opportunity from your enemy? If you gave us jobs, if you empower us, we would turn down the offer from the federal government. Because you neglected us, you don’t want the organization to exist anymore.

You guys should stop putting mouth in Yoruba affairs only to then sound ignorant and an unwanted nuisance. Gani is being specifically tasked to rise to the challenges of his Aare Ona Kakanfo title.

Giwa is shading Gani Adam's because, like most Yorubas, he knows the current Aare Ona Kakanfo is a compromised politician more than a deserving and honorable holder of that esteemed Yoruba title.

This is why Tinubu never f.cks around with these fake cultural and sectional leaders, including the likes of Yinka Odumakin etal, who are all wannabe politicians and government contractors.

How dis tin take concern a pastor? There are great responsibilities on those who have people before them listening to their messages in delivering them from troubles . Let us do that first rather than pushing an ordinary traditional chieftaincy title holder to do something.

Human rights lawyers also have a lot to do, including getting to court for the interpretation of the laws of this land concerning traditional rulership. Is it accommodated in law to set up another traditional stool in a land where you sojourn? You come to a place, you're welcomed by its traditional ruler, you're given a space for your business. Later you refuse to recognise the traditional ruler of the area, rights of his/her people, and set up your own stool with your own people there. There can't be a ruler without a ruled land, and there can't be two or more traditional rulers on one and same land: it certainly would breed crisis because the obvious agenda of the latter ruler with a different culture and tradition is to take over. This is not what is accommodated anywhere in the world in this 21st century. Getting a court pronouncement on this can go a long way to stop serikis, ezes and obas in different cultures where troubles are brewing and usher in peace and harmony.
