No fewer than 27 wedding guests have been kidnapped by gunmen along Wukari-Takum road in Taraba state.

The council Chairman of Takum local government area, Shiban Tikari told newsmen that the 27 were abducted while returning to Takum.

He said no contact has been made to the family of those abducted.

He further disclosed that security operatives, as well as the youths of the area, have been combing bushes along that axis in search of the 27.

Contacted, the spokesman of the state police command, DSP David Misal confirmed the incident.

In a text message to Vanguard, Misal said “ we confirmed that they are missing but not establish either kidnapped or otherwise. Investigation has commenced.”

Nigeria is completely finished under Buhari and the worst part of it is that he doesn't care if Nigeria is burning provided that nothing happens to his barren cows. But, I can cry more than the bereaved.

Kidnapping now a serious business in sparsely populated areas with many forests.

This is a wake up call to the government to make the land profitable. You can't successfully kidnap that huge amount of people in Mushin, Lagos without getting caught.

I hope they are found safe and sound.

SOUTHERN KIDNAPPERS: Identifies their victim, takes weeks to trail him. Takes another few weeks to plot the operation and finally on the day of the operation, just when the bus carrying the victim was in sight.

NORTHERN KIDNAPPERS: Comes out of the bush. Shoots into the air. Kidnaps every passenger in the bus, kills the driver, kidnaps his spirit. Kidnaps the road, the grass, the air, the bus engine, the birds and finally kidnaps daylight.

SOUTHERN KIDNAPPERS

We pray they are all found in one piece.
This is the first assignment to all the Service Chiefs appointed yesterday.

The country isn't safe at all and as far as Buhari is there, things will obviously not get better.

His presence and silence has emboldened herdsmen and killers which means killings, banditary and kidnapping will get worse.

The country can't protect anyone so protect yourself with any possible means and if you have the opportunity to leave Nigeria, do so ASAP .

Wukari Takum road has always been notorious for kidnapping. You don't pass there without Mopol or soldier escort.

The kidnapping network has d police, army and some politicians on their payroll. They do it confidently and collect ransom with confidence.
After money/ransom exchange hands, the corrupt Nigerian police force will compel u to say no ransom was paid.
