Wouldn't more heavy duty trucks towing the roads at night time be more deadlier? Anyways,we should expect more inflation because of this. |

lalasticlala: Maximize the use of the SEA and AIR ports in the eastern side of Nigeria - that’s the only solution to urban slums and traffic jams in Lagos. 51 years after the East lost the civil war, and Nigeria programming against economic survival in the east, see where the programming has led to. The program of Igbo no go preside over Nigeria, before long, we shall also see the ugly result and effects on Nigeria. 1 Like

Are the trucks road worthy? Moving the evil to night. As usual, treating symptoms instead of addressing the root cause |

Hon. Com., Traffic, bad road, area boys & agberu should be your 1st point of action. No mechanism to attend to logistics hence time restrictions good but bad timing. On Lagos Ibadan express alone from 10pm to 5am serious gridlock by Soldiers of the Nigeria Army. When do you propose they arrive Lagos? This new will bring about more collapse & breakdown of truck, Lagos only give room for some people to be more richer. Truck moving from mile 2 to Under bridge pay not less than 20k to some set of people. This stupid set of people will not make it effective. |

so many assumptions made here. Before making an outright judgement, one needs to know the root cause of truck-related accidents, could it be due to faulty road geometric designs, traffic compliance, absence of traffic control signages and many more. If it turned out to be any of those cause, moving alone at night is not a wise solution. Also, what accommodation is in place for interstate truck drivers?. Are there places they could park their trucks during off-hours before continuing their journey in Lagos? Another assumption made here is that traffic is low during night time, this is not always true. Now imagine peak traffic in the night with hundreds of truck sharing carriageways with you. A horrific experience that would be. We should do more. 1 Like |
