Letter To Miyetti Allah: Fulani, A Cow For 100 Soul Is A Kill Kill Situation by Micheal A Adeniyi

Dear Miyetti Allah. You are the face of Fulani. Watch it.

The truth is the Fulani tribes have no leader apart from Miyetti Allah and it is wrong. But the biggest truth is that cow is the identity of the Fulani’s. It is your first love. You respect it. Perhaps worship it devotedly like you worship Allah! But little did you know that humans a creation of Allah is more powerful than cows, another creation of Allah! If you ever doubt it. Ask yourself why you as a human is the one caring and herding the cows. If cows are greater they would be herding human and rear you. Don’t you know?

Miyetti Allah, you are the only know representative of Fulani. Not all Fulani are herders. So when will Fulani’s have a body like Afenifere, Ohanaeze and Arewa consultative forum? Well Miyetti Allah, you need to be school thought for saying ‘A cow is worth more than 100 people ‘ oh wait, each of you as a man has more that 2, 5, 20. 50 cows, upward in that order. Just one man have hundred cows. This is to say a live is worth more than 100 cow. I’m not done.

A cow cannot live up to 100 years, humans live more than 100 years. Some of you are above 70 already and have seen 6 generation of cows at least. Before a cow clocks 10 years old it would have ended up with the Butcher. Killed and served hot in plates. Cows does not waste away. Time spent on cow is not a waste too....So why would you waste a ‘life’ I mean human, kill a human for a cow that will end up in a pot of soup in less than 5-10 years? When you kill a man for a cow you would have killed the cow and the people that will eat it. It is a kill kill situation. So does it mean Fulani’s are just suppose to kill kill till they die?

‘Justice must be done even if the heavens will fall’ always have that at the back of your mind. Although divine Justice belong to Allah. There is earthly Justice which is not for Allah. If you put justice into your own hands it meant revenge. So does any religion preach revenge? I would have said leave it to Allah when people attack and kill your cows, but we have Justice here on earth. So when you have not harmed anyone or destroyed anyone and they attack your cows, report it to the police. The law is there to force the killer of your cow to not only pay the price monetarily but such person will pay the price in Jail.

Lastly. It has been said that even when farmers attack Fulani’s it is because they got provoked that cow ate up their farms. To you is that fair enough? Is it good to consume another mans joy? The same way you get pained when a cow you labored on gets killed by angry farmers is the same pain a farmer whom your cows destroyed his farm feels. So should farmer say for every farm destroyed 100 Fulani herdsmen must die?

Avoid provocation. Buy a land, build a ranch, buy feeds. Sell your cow at increased and reasonable price. You have an association. You are the major breeders. Earn more money by providing cow’s breast milk to Milk industries for production. Sell cow dungs as manure.. Think, make more money. Avoid stress. You don’t need to comb the forest because of some cows that you have dominion upon. Live and let live.

Eliminating bad Fulani herdsmen will be easy when there are ranches. Today the few kidnappers and killers among the Fulani are called killer Fulani herdsmen because Fulani representation is Miyetti Allah. Body of herdsmen, so all Fulani are seen as herdsmen and member of Miyetti Allah and as you know when the bad Fulani finish operations, they run to the herds and take cover. So how then do you want people to address you?

Well, I will implore you to stop accommodating the bad Fulani’s. And if they are not Nigerians as you have rightly said on a number of occasions, please get a register. Create identity scheme. Know your members. Fish out the bad Foreign Fulani and send them back to where they came from.

Redeem your own image and identity. Nobody will do that for you!

You don't talk sense into murderers and voilent people. It is up to government to use the full wrath of the law to prosecute them for capital crimes.

Sad that this biased and collusion regime choses to look the other way and former regimes had no balls. Jopefully going forward, justice will not be spared.
