Proves Lagos APC was not democratic in the first place. If not the same folks will just reaffirm what they had been doing all along. But this outcry is probably because it was bent all along, thoughts we had been expressing for upwards of 4 or more political terms now. That there is simply no democracy in Lagos state.

Anyone devoid of sentiment knows this. Lagos is just a political fiefdom and it has consequences for the long term viability of any interests holding it hostage. Lagos may have made certain progress under the visionary leadership of its 'strongman' but when nature does a 'Houphet Boigny' or a 'Mobutu Seseseko' then the value of true democracy becomes apparent.

I think this is good for long term democracy in Lagos. Today Lagos is like a rich man married to five house wives and twenty spoilt children. If you understand this then carry on thinking...
