if u read d post you would have seen d purpose of d fund raising.
“About £8,000 has been raised out of the £100,000 goal for the purchase of buses that will help address concerns around logistics for Mr. Igboho and his supporters.“

Logistics for anarchy

Logistics to carry his thugs from one place to another i guess.

Cos they're better positioned to tell what it means to say "I belong to this country". If you're in the diaspora where everything or nearly everything works and you remember where you come from and how people there have adjusted to the suffering lifestyle as their new normal, what you'd mostly canvass for is a radical change. In the case of Nigeria, restructuring is the better way forward and with our crop of politicians making that difficult because of what they enjoy, a breakup is the next cause. So, if you're in those places too, you'd championing the cause.

Oduduwa Republic: Yorubas abroad open GoFundMe page for Sunday Igboho

The appeal has received nearly £8,000 within five hours of going live on the Internet.

Yorubas in the diaspora have opened A GoFundMe Page for controversial activist Sunday ‘Igboho’ Adeyemo, saying it was to aid a struggle for the Oduduwa Republic.

The campaign is aimed at funding a fleet of vehicles and other equipment for Igboho and his followers, who have been at the forefront of a renewed agitation for the actualisation of Yoruba’s secession from Nigeria.

The campaign could add another layer of complication to the raging national conversation about Nigeria’s unity under President Muhammadu Buhari, whose governing style has been evidently sectional and divisive.

Already, pro-Biafran sentiments have gained widespread popularity amongst the Igbo ethnic stock occupying the country’s southeast.

Igboho has been in the news lately over his campaign to drive Fulani herdsmen from Oke-Ogun and other parts of Yorubaland, alleging that they have been the dominant perpetrators of violent crimes in the region.

In January, Mr. Buhari Asked The Police To Shoot Igboho On Sight after he led an army of his supporters to attack homes of Fulani settlers in Oyo.

Still, Igboho’s campaign to fragment the country has received the attention of some Yorubas in the diaspora.

About £8,000 has been raised out of the £100,000 goal for the purchase of buses that will help address concerns around logistics for Mr. Igboho and his supporters.

It was not immediately clear whether or not the people behind the campaign have ties to Igboho or discussed the matter with him before the launching the fundraiser. A spokesman for the activist did not immediately return a request seeking comments from the Gazette Wednesday night.

DSS should start looking at the character of those pushing funds into this account and CBN should monitor the bank account of those managing the funds.

This is looking more like 2023 'thing's and endSars 2.0 through the back door.

Secession is not practical for now.

And it won't solve our most visible problems, especially corruption.

Biafra existed for only 30 months, but the problem of corruption and police brutality was the order of the day, from government officials hoarding relief materials for themselves and families to police and Biafran soldiers bullying Biafran civilians. Nothing changed.

What we need now is a roundtable discussion involving selected leaders from every region of the country. The process should be transparent.

The discussion should be about the future, and what we really want as a country. Because I don't think we know what we want.

We need to reach an agreement on what we want, what system of government to adopt, what to do with the military constitution of 1999 that we are still using, etc.

He is leading Nigeria to anarchy...

You cannot drive from Abuja to neighbouring states now except Nasarawa because terrorists have taken over the territory. Farmlands are being attacked and people killed every day. Are we not already in anarchy?

Igboho is not the issue. What you are seeing is restructuring happening naturally. Local people now want to personally take care of their problem. Ka ji kwo?

What exactly is this GoFundMe for?

This Sunday Igboho lives in a mansion, has fleet of benzes with his customized name on the plate numbers. All these wealth gotten from thuggery. What more does he want.

I can see that most Nigerians abroad are the ones that want to breakup Nigeria.

Oduduwa republic is a dead republic, they can't even provide jobs for themselves but see them sponsoring a thug and an illiterate to achieve a dead dream.

You all claim Buhari is an illiterate but you go around supporting a real illiterate and a thug to achieve a failed dream

They cannot visit Nigeria and to visit their village is a nightmare. Many want to return home but fear of being kidnapped and killed by fulani herdsmen is a major concern. Dr Aborode was killed in ibarapa by killer herdsmen.

Who needs funding for emergence of Oduduwa, Biafra and possible new Republic or more Republics in the SoutSouth?

Once Oduduwa politicians unilaterally declare Oduduwa Republic, Arewa shall quickly go for its Arewa Islamic Sharia Republic which it long started by adoption of Unconstitutional Islamic Sharia criminal justice system in 1999.
The Biafra politicians shall gladly restore Biafra Republic. People in the SS shall sort their region out for new country or countries.

The Middle belt shall sort themselves out for new country or countries.

What matters in one’s country is happiness with one’s country, not how rich or big one’s country is.

Ironically it is the leaders who don't like to patronise Nigerian hospitals running to London for the slightest of headaches that are breaking up Nigeria.
