FIRST REPORTS have obtained a chilling audio call detailing the conversation between kidnappers and the victim’s family member as both parties tried to negotiate when ransom would be paid. The incident happened in Delta State.

The audio clip starts with the victim whose voice is shaking telling his relative that his abductors are demanding N3 million. He added that “they have been injuring me.”

“Oga, so you like money pass your brother?” one of the kidnappers audaciously asked the relative of the victim who denied the assumption, maintaining that there is no money.

The kidnapper then asked him, “If na you enter this kind thing [abduction], you de call am [yor relative] for phone, him de tell you this kind thing, you go happy?”

As the relative tried to explain further what they have been doing to raise the ransom, the victim could be heard screaming “abeg abeg” in distress.

God no go allow me experience this kind thing. Even the relative is taking it as a light joke. Accent looks northern. Geez kidnapping is real my people
