Pastor Tunde Bakare, the General Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, formerly known as Latter Rain Assembly, has denied stating President Muhammadu Buhari has failed Nigerians.

Many media houses had quoted Bakare as saying President Buhari has disappointed Nigerians, after an Instagram live interview with the Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, on Tuesday.

However, in a recent interview with Arise TV, on Thursday, the clergyman and lawyer dismissed the reports, noting that media outlets quoted him wrongly in other to sell their papers.

In his words:

“The truth of the matter is, that was an Instagram live interview that lasted for over 2 hours, and the audio and the video will be available, I’m sure the publisher of Ovation Media, Bashorun Dele Momodu, can make that available to the public.
