If you can go back to beg your dad and if he didn’t still accept that you come back. Just find a way to put yourself in a place as an apprentice. Hustle for 2 years. When you are 20. If you still want to go to school you can then buy jamb form then and sort it will part of the money you would have saved. Most importantly in those two years is that you learn a skill.

My point is that he has acknowledged his mistake and am sure he won't do that again. We're not living with him and we don't know his father, so if the guy commits suicide now because nobody helped him what will be your point then. My advice now is that he needs money and shelter not necessarily the job

Acknowledgement without wisdom is nothing. His post still reeks of the same thing that got him here. Acknowledgement is nothing. Most people who gamble with life have that momentary acknowledgement too. He doesn't need any money from anyone.

No amount of money is enough for an irresponsible person. What he needs is to either go back to his family or, seek their neighbors, his relatives or his church. If his best option, even when he is skill-less and planless, is to leave home, then he still needs a lot of learning to do.

And bringing suicide here is just trying to go emotional. He's not ready for any help and leaving the home would be suicidal. It's better to fight to stay home than to gamble with a world you've shown to not understand her ways. What he really needs now is wisdom to go back home. He needs to device a plan.
