There is no vaccine proven to be effective across all the variants, each has its degree of effectiveness on each variant. Every country researched and came up with vaccines that has higher effectiveness against the parent country's variant first, other variants are secondary. Unfortunately, less develop countries like naija has to make do with what they get.
