I don't know about that but what I'm saying is you people in the East whether Igbo or Yoruba cannot fully be aware of how the Fulanis are feeling the heat in SW, but rely on SM, all the killing you are seeing on the internet by the Fulanis is the reaction to what they are going through,

I have problem with this post. Col Olagunju rtd gave assurance of safety of people but Fulani bandits have not failed to show their colours in attacking unsuspecting and vulnerable people...

Greater part of the thread neglected the Fulani evil and how to apprehend the culprits but instead kept telling us how the state government were taking care of the victims of the attack. It kept repeating that the lab results, X-rays were taken care of by the state government and that orthopaedic and specialists doctors were attending to them...

Those men sustained fractures and possibly injuries to soft tissues and vital organs. State government shouldn’t tell lies on the state of their health conditions since they’ve made that the focus of the press release.

Pls what happened to the Fulani mercenaries? Or are we still looking for their cows to prove it was done by the Fulanis? How come that area hasn’t been secured?

The locals will not be safe as long as fulanis are still 200km radius of that area. Fulanis must be flushed out of the area.

Stop talking like a fool,
This is a pure blood letting in Southwest, if someone in part of the South thinks he does not concern him then it's a matter of time.

I see some Igbo people playing politics n holding some region to derision.... Anything that affect the South it Should be for all South...

And no time Yoruba celebrated fulani attack on any region, we know they r common enemies.

you are definately right, what goes around would surely comes around. So you guys should be ready, its going to be your turn soon. Wish you guys goodluck in advance.

Sure, any good observer knows that already. If you study what is currently happening in Nigeria, you will see that Fulanis are actually concentrating their efforts in the SW at the moment and it's for three main reasons:

1. They understand the dangers of confronting both SW and SE at the same time, the country will immediately go up in flames and it will unite Igbos and Yorubas against them which will ultimately lead to Nigeria's break-up.

2. Confronting the SW now poses less threat to them considering that the region is not unanimous in their sentiments against the risk they portends to them. This is basically due to the influence of Islam and sociopolitical factors.

3. Whatever happens, the fulani elite can't imagine being cut off from Lagos. It's something they would want to resist with the last drop of their blood. Contrary to popular belief, if push comes to shove, the fulani elite may even be willing to let go of SE and SS despite the crude oil, but they're already seeing Lagos as part of their heritage and lifeblood.

The above 3 situations have helped the SE and SS to stay off the radar. Nnamdi Kanu is equally very smart and he understands their delimma which made him to be proactive in forming the ESN. Right now, it would take massive military expedition to rout ESN because they're not at a spot but have spread out across Eastern bushes. So, unlike in the past when scores of soldiers would be sent to go and do operation crocodile smile, and they will get the job done within days, now the dynamics have changed, it will now require thousands of soldiers and it will take a very long while too without the government being sure of what the outcome will be. These scenario is what they can't afford now considering the near chaos that has bedeviled the entire North and parts of SW.

We are indeed living in interesting times.

When indigenous people of the middle belt were lamenting of fulani herdsmen killings, especially those in Benue, Plateau and Southern Kaduna, Igbos felt their pain and helped to give them moral support through awareness but afonjas decided to play politics with their plight because they wanted to show loyalty to a certain new sheriff in town. However, they forgot that what goes around surely comes around!

Karma at work.
Lmao. I can't recall any Yoruba asking for your useless moral support. You support is as useful as condom in a convent.

The afonja you mentioned are now the husband of the herders . It's only yorubas who are attacking and retaliating in the country today. Kanu only gives audio orders and threats from his hiding. Sunday igboho is a hero. He's visibly seen everywhere despite the fed govt threats. I urge you set up amotekun replica before fulanis would exterminate you guys. What you saw recently in South East and Benin ore expressway would be a tip of the iceberg in near future. Maybe all of you would run to yorubaland as the only safe haven. The earlier you act, the better. The widely publicised ESN is neither here nor there meanwhile amotekun are seen everywhere

Lolz, you're only decieving yourself, believe me. The situation currently is far more critical in the SW than in the SE. Amotekun you're talking about has become neutralized yet you can't even see it. Where are the Amotekun when killings and kidnappings are now at an all time high in the SW? Can't you see that your governors have been forced to mellow down. Even your monarchs too have been neutralized, including the oni of ife. Now contrast the near chaos currently being experienced in the SW to the tranquility in the SE. When last did you hear of fulani attacks here in the East compared to when ESN hasn't been formed?

Fulanis herdsmen in the East have gotten the memo that they can't kill, maim or kidnapp our people now without having ESN to contend with. We don't need any security outfit formed by our governors because they will be as useless as Amotekun.

Talking about Sunday Igboho, dude hasn't even accomplished 1% of what Nnamdi Kanu has already achieved. He is just starting out and it is yet to be seen if will eventually get it right or just fizzle out after all the media hype.

Nnamdi Kanu is better off staying in London and coordinating the global affairs of IPOB as well as ESN in Nigeria without distractions. He would be foolish to return to Nigeria to be arrested or even assassinated. If it's about being courageous, he has already proved his mettle when he returned to Nigeria the first time, traversed Igboland like a collosus and was jailed, released and finally attacked by the Nigerian army in his house which caused him to disappear momentarily before reemerging again, stronger!

Sentiments aside, Sunday Igboho is not yet qualified to be mentioned in the same sentence with Nnamdi Kanu because he hasn't proved his mettle yet.

I agree with you on this, even though I'm Yoruba. It's annoying that only few went along with myself from NL to joined Igboho for the Battle. While so many Youths from NL that I communicated with underground have gone to join ESN to defend Igbo Land, I saw a video of over 1,000,000 Igbos deep in the Forest killing every invaders. Many senseless Yoruba Youths on NL are still busy screaming "Yoruba ronu, Yoruba ronu" like brainless bitches. They shall all die like chickens because very soon, few of us that were ready to fight are already being frustrated by their cowardice. Soon, we shall leave the Country vfor them, so that the useless set of human being could be slaughtered by the enemies they refuse to arise and destroy.

Shut the Bleep up ... Yorubas are the only ethnic group in this amalgamation who have been resisting the jihadists fulani pigs since 1820, go consult your history books. And for you to have used the afonja word shows you're one of those fulani agents piggydallying on Nairaland to spread propaganda and cause confusion just to divide the real southern people in Yoruba and igbos. When fulani baztard piiigs were porking middle beltans there were many Yoruba groups who lend their voices to the massacre going on while Yorubas too were facing them in their ancestral lands, but you been a fulani mongrel just come here to talk rubbish.

You all should stop calling them herdsmen. It's a good cover these jihadist pigheads continue to use so that they can argue it is clash between herdsmen and farmers.
