Doomed?? Everybody in any religion sees thier counter part as such. Anybody practicing a religion believe that his/her religion is superior and above others, so they are allow to see those as being doomed- total darkness. If you are obsessed with his comment why not skip it?

I believe everybody has the right to speak of his religion as far he didn't infringe on the opposite Religious person's right or his religious beliefs.

Using your geographical location as an excuse not to accept light is a poor and lazy reason.
Those born poor that broke out of poverty to become rich saw beyond where they were.
They first accepted that poverty was not the better option.
You have no excuse not to get to any place in life...the question should be "are you willing to accept the consequences for taking a bold step?

Allowing our emotion to over ride our faith is the one of reasons we are not doing well spiritually.

There will always be only one truth in everything even though others look like the truth.
Search out for the truth. No reason to swallow a lie and blame it on geographical location. Take responsibility for your life....
