See money, money is in drug, real and hard money.

What Have NDLEA been doing with all these drugs they have been seizing/seized from drug dealers? Or do SNANKE finds its way to the DRUGS?
Because if all these drugs are sold to the pharmaceutical companies it will go a Long way in financing some of the National projects, if judiciously used.

the point being made is that the owners of the consignment would likely have fled upon knowledge of the discovery of the cocaine and arrest of the clearing agents

Pavore9:

The Agents would provide details of those who engaged them to clear the container.

1kg is about $40,000 multiply by 44.1and that's about $1.724m how did that amount to half a billion, talk more of the money quoted
You know nothing about the drug game. When cut into grams, sometimes diluted, a pure kilo can sell as high as $150,000. You are a rookie

A lot of drug seizures recently. I knew it was going to be like this with the appointment of Rtd Brig. Buba Marwa.

It is usually like this with new appointments, moreless with someone with the antecedent of Buba Marwa. All these drug agents should have known better but who to advise when the lure of drug money is involved.

.

That Coke is not worth 7 million dolls no matter the purity. 32 billion is an exaggeration by officials to show their new boss that they are working.

this agent would have made serious Cash out while ruining lives in the process

It may be for pharmaceutical use and secondly the agents may not even be aware of such content in the container; (am not trying to defend anybody ).
Finally our security outfit are useless and incompetent, they lack investigative wisdom, they should have tracked the container to its final destination and arrest the owners and not agents that are doing their work.
Well every field have its own occupational hazard, accidents, problems and other challenges no matter how lucrative/good it may look like.

NDLEA should recruite people like me with the pure wisdom and intelligencia/physically fit on how to nab any criminal elements but they prefer people have connection/money without something upstair.

Has anyone noticed these arrests started with the installation of Buba Marwa as the head of NDLEA? At least one Visionary leader still exists in Nigeria. Such a man will rid Nigeria of criminal elements if he is elected President. BM for 2023

Nigeria's security forces and crude ways of intelligence and investigation. Play on with the agents and trace the final destination of the goods.

From there, the owners will be swiftly apprehended and investigation starts. That's when they are free to display the seizures. But no, they are always quick to invite the press and show everything in public. I bet you, the owners are always smarter than the system and they may even be chilling somewhere in the Bahamas with some cuties, sipping their french wine and watching what is happening.

Most drug dealers are not resident in Nigeria. They will ship their consignments and call unsuspecting agents to clear them. Later, they will call their boys to take their goods to the warehouse. They hardly step their foot in the country and have numerous boys serving them here.

Stupid. Couldn't they have followed the container to its final destination?
Why arrest the Agents knowing fully well they wouldn't have an idea of the illegal contents thereby allowing the main guys flee.
Naija sha.

That’s Nigeria for you. They will never arrest the right people. These guys don’t care about reducing crime rate. In fact they’ll rather arrest someone who knows nothing about the case then the original criminal

Most new appointments always goes with this euphoria, that is what we called " initial gragra". Let's give him sometime to see if he will sustain the tempo before passing a judgement.

So, this investment just go down the drain like that? Someone's hustle and money? Very sad.

Before you mention me, between kidnapping, armed robbery, ritual killing and drug trafficking, which is more legit and lesser evil?

Drug traffickers should be left alone. Some of you don't know the courage and investment that goes into this business.

Whenever they succeed, you people will hail them and pray to be in their shoes but whenever they are bursted, you will be the first person to castigate them on nairaland
