Wait o.

Seun please if i may ask, how is it that you banned Cryptocurrency investment threads and you even tagged it shady yet you put it up as an ad?

Is this not double standard? if you ban it on your site then why collect money to promote it.

OyigboUpdate:
This cryptocurrency ban is highly supported hence it preserves our unity.
This bitcoin is used to sponsor terrorist groups like IPOB, Boko haram, bandits etc
This same bitcoin is also used for kidnapping.
We say NO to Bitcoin and yes to one Nigeria.

Then they should equally ban Naira because kidnappers receive Naira too. Dont forget that some receive dollars, so that should also be banned.

My point is, some people do behind, stuffs that they openly condemn. Nairaland is against crypto, yet they accept paid advert on their platform for crypto. CBN may condemn crypto yet there is possibility that some of the execs may be into crypto

On the subject of this all this cryptocurrency issue

Seun, don't you think it's high time you allow free legitimate discussions of cryptocurrency investments on this platform and not just tag everything as a scam.

Similar to the Forex Trades Alert, thread.

The job of the mods is to weed out those that violet the rules.
You even allow crypto ads here, but we can't talk about it?

I remember a thread that got deleted because of this.

And the CBN governor who was a former Zenith bank exec who banned crypto? undecided
cryptocurrency is good and bad. one thing you should know is that it is bad for a import dependent economy like ours. crypto is now competing against the CBN for our scarce resources (dollars). one has to go.

This is preposterous. Remittance inflows dropped significantly in 2020, we're planning on how to recover from the covid induced economic hit and recession... With Nigeria being one of the biggest users of crypto, instead of tapping into the opportunities that abound, we're locking money out.

Let me help you... This is more of a political move (post endsars rancor) than a business move. Buhari and his gang prefer a Nigeria suffering because he sees them as an affront to his despotic regime, than a prosperous country.

trashy trash. crypto is no regulated by the CBN therefore buying it takes away dollars from our economy. our major dollar earner is oil. with the dwindling price of oil coupled with the craze for crypto, our economy is heading for the rock if we do nothing.

Bitcoin-the only means people employed to make a living despite its constricting economic policies, they went to block it again.

Anything that benefits the masses is an abomination to APC
