Ukwu should have been ascribed to Flavor Nabania.
Faze:kolomental
Psquare. Busybody
No long thing. Tuface

Kolomental and busybody have been on the street even before Faze and Psquare were born.

As I saw "No lele" attributed to Wizkid, I realised it's crap post. Trash!

No lele that has been in existence even before Wizkid was born.

None of these slangs can be confidently said to have emanated from the Nigerian music industry.

I don't think you are Yoruba, otherwise you wouldn't include very obvious Yoruba expressions such as Oleku as having emanated from Ice Prince. Enu o Se which was already a popular slang in Mushin even long before Durella broke into the scene. Soro soke had already become a signature from Toyin Afolayan (a Nollywood actress) before Olamide was even born. Slangs like Gongo Aso have always been used in Western Nigeria since Independence. Yorubas naturally like parties. The musicians however made them popular across the country. It doesn't mean the slangs originated from them. Not a chance.

And you even credited Timaya as the originator of bad belle.

All these slangs have been in use for as long as many of us can remember.

I am sure if someone sang Feselu tommorow, you would credit them as the originator when Feselu has actually always been a boarding house slang in Western Nigeria.

In fact, but for a few ones that look truly original, many of the slangs on your list have been in existence, and the musicians simply used them, and spread them across the regions of the country.

Do you know what the Koko is?

Dbanj never said what it was.

Don Jazzy who kept asking "Make I tell you the Koko?" also never told us what the Koko was up to this day.
