So that place was called Kibroth-hattaavah, because there they buried the people who had the craving.

IMO, the bible is a book filled with stories about God. It wasn't inspired by God. Most of the stories in the bible were handed down by word of mouth before they were eventually written by human beings. When stories are handed that way, they are not told exactly as they occurred. Also, some of the stories told in the bible are symbolic, some literal, some inaccurate and some are pure fiction.

Jesus was a middle eastern Jew so he would look like an Arab, not like the pale skinned guy shown in pictures.
