I don't like to comments on ethnic matters but this video has proven to me that some politicians are bent on cashing on the situation to achieve their objectives. It started with malicious newspapers reportage that was heavily skewed to make a certain group appear to be the victims. From this lady's eyes contact, it is obvious that she was reading a prepared statement. Secondly, properties were destroyed on both ends and people should stop making the northerners to be victims who folded their harms while their properties and alleged lives were being taken away. It was simply a case of being OVERPOWERED AND OVERWHELMED by the hoodlums. As at Friday, the northerners were having the upper hand and burning everywhere until the story changed on Saturday. In fact, it was alleged as at Friday that the soldiers and policemen that were on ground were aiding the northerners and even ordered the amotekun personnel to step aside. The two parties are counting their losses and of course one party suffered most and people should stop this deliberate victim reportage to stop further escalation. Any responsible leader should have known that the country is boiling from bottled up frustration which was unleashed during the endsars campaign. Our northern brothers should also stop this mob mentality when dealing with other citizens. The idea of quickly coming together to challenge anyone that has issue with a northerner is very bad. If you doubt me, just have an issue with an Okada rider from the north anywhere in Lagos, you will be surprised by the number of northerners that will encircle you and ready to kill you. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Obviously this lady is a Fulani's, here is a true account from the right source of what actually transpired between Hausa's and Yoruba's which led to the deadly clash at shasha market. This person said he made use of the service of the cobbler that was killed while he was a kid, so he definitely knew the deseased. He also said some of Hausa's that were involved in this riot used to make use of his mother's shop as an accommodation during the night. So here is his account: according to him, the cobbler intervened when the Hausa's man, who also called his colleagues in, was harrasing a pregnant Yoruba woman right in front of her shop, which unfortunately led to the cobbler's death. After the cobbler was pronounced dead in the hospital, some group of Yoruba's youth approached the scene in seeking for justice for the deseased but to no avail as the Hausa's men used their strategic advantage in the market to chase others away and destroying their properties in the process. In the course of this, they chased people into their private homes and caused more destructions. While doing this, some Yoruba's youth laid ambush for the Hausa's and started killing them. This story sounds like the case of oppressors who later turned out to become the victims. The Hausa's people were having upper hand in the fight until some Yoruba youth invaded the scene. What do you expect to hear from the Fulani girl? Expect her(Fulani girl) to say the Niger man was at fault is like expect a pig to fly. She lied about her narrative. Who interviewed the shop owner ? Or was the shop owner sleeping when it happened for her to be the only witness Typical way of thinking of an average northerner. Tell that to your almajiris |

Too bad and very pathetic, but that's how the northerners also react when it come to a e.g Yoruba man committing a crime, in the north, they'll pounce on all other ethnic tribes from Southerner's living in the North. So Aisha shouldn't be surprised, because what goes around comes around. 2 Likes |

Another twist the culprit was hidden by the Seriki instead of taken to the police station for a crime he committed. He story is not balanced with a lot of holes in it.... I can bet that this is not what happened... Partial truth with a lot of lies... Now he is saying a Niger man.... When it is clear that in this country Niger have invaded the country I mean Fulanis and they are difficult to distinguish from Hausas... Lies... |
