It is no longer news that Ramon Abbas aka Hushpuppi is standing trial in the United States for allegedly being involved in Money Laundering, Business Email Compromise (BEC), and other Internet Fraud.

The Nigerian was arrested in June 2020 in Dubai and extradited to the United States on July 3, 2020.

Hushpuppi was in November 2020 implicated by a notorious internet fraudster, Ghaleb Alaumary, aka “Backwood” in a plea bargain he entered with the United States District Court, California.
