Plane had been used by security and intelligence agencies on reconnaissance missions over Sambisa and many Areas where insurgents have posed a threat .....


The Accident Investigation Bureau says they can not comment on the cause of the plane crash since the aircraft belongs to the military, the Airforce is the competent institution to comment in the tragedy.

A Nigerian Air Force Beechcraft King Air 350i Surveillance Aircraft has crashed in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
The twin-turboprop surveillance aircraft crashed after takeoff from the Abuja International Airport en route Minna, Niger State capital, Hadi Sirika, Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, confirmed Sunday afternoon.One was transferred from the presidential air fleet in 2015.
The aircraft, alongside others, is used for intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance missions across the country.
