I understand and feel you but the oppressors have been working overtime to eliminate all features of the aboriginals here. There is no single street or landmark named after Afonja/Laderin (founders o). They even changed Kwara United Afonja Warriors nick to Harmony Warriors but it refused to stick. When the late Adisa opened Afonja Community Bank, the Emir went against him for that but he stood his ground, now they introduced an alien culture of doing Durban every year even against the Yoruba’s wish.
