An animal that kills its victims quite cruelly is undoubtedly the Sea Lamprey. In fact, this nice ectoparasite (which can reach 1 and 20 in length) spread along all the European coasts and in North America has a very particular way of killing its victims. Basically, it finds a fish (salmon, herring but also some species of small sharks), sticks with its teeth, and starts sucking the blood with its tongue and draining it!
