Most farmers in the North use grants and government Agricultural infrastructures like irrigation etc. They use free tractor from their LGA and lots more from federal ministry of agriculture.

There are lot of buyers of farm produce from northern Cameroon, senegal, mali, niger and chad. The revenue they make from these markets alone is more than the revenue from the southern market in Nigeria

The areas you mentioned are subsistence sufficient and export food items to Nigeria. Those markets are also less than a fifth of southern Nigeria's. Niger as a whole net exports livestock n food to northern Nigeria. Niger's entire Gdp is 10 bnl USD. The south's food bill alone is $5 bln Usd.

Pls stop deceiving ur self. And northern Camr is a dead region. Far North province exports down to Central (Yaounde) and South to Douala, Kribi etc. The actual Usd value of food bills across Cmr BFaso Niger and Chad is less than 600 mln USD. And in none of these networks are inputs or produce from Northern Nigeria used.

All the countries you mentioned feature 70 plus percent poverty rates and are classified as LIFD (low income food deficient) because tho they are subsistent, they cannot pay for high value fiber or proteins...... so I dont know where you got your so called conclusions from.

We are aware they have indirectly jointly funded a refinery in Chad built by the Chinese and now planning to use Niger Delta money to finance pipelines from Chad to Nigeria while railway goes from Kano to Maradi (Niger ). They are using the incoherence and division of the South to their advantages. I hope the Yorubas and the IBOs and the South South can see these people using us to play Chess. They are using us and our resources to do TRIANGULAR projects between Chad - Nigeria - Niger Republic.

Members of the Amalgamated Union of Foodstuff and Cattle Dealers of Nigeria across the Northern part of the country have begun blocking trade routes to the South by stopping food item-laden trucks from going south. They have started diverting their goods and all consumables to the neigbouring countries of Niger Republic and Cameroon, IgbereTV has learned.

Truckloads of food items from the northern part of the country were on Friday stopped by northerners from entering Kwara State and neighbouring states in the South West.

They had earlier issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Federal Government for N450 Billion compensation to the union for the death of over 250 members and destruction of their properties or face a strike action.

The union alleged that 151 of its members were killed during the Shasha crisis in Oyo State while over 100 members were killed during the ENDSARS protest across the country.

I bet you that we can grow onions and every other food items such as tomatoes in the SW and SE comfortably . Let the both SW and SW. I mean the whole SOUTH (SW+SE ) Not imaginary (SS) Let the two region invests and open up green houses where this food such as Onion Tomatoes and others can be planted and genetically modified as it is done in Europe and Middle East and China . I can tell you that within 4 to 6 months from now the entire SOUTH will be food sufficicent and even start to export to Europe and nearby cities in Central African republic. Let the North deliver their tomatoes to the their brothers in NIGER CHAD AND LIBYA .

I support the right of the Niger-Delta militant from stopping the flow of oil in the country. Nigeria has polluted their land to develop Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, and Abuja. No city in South-South is better than the above cities, yet they supply 90% of the country FX earnings.
