If you want a proper ambulance with all the trimmings....pay higher taxes.

Nigeria's tax to gdp ratio is 6.1%. Countries who have superior ambulances...have tax to gdp ratios above 25%

Even if we pay 50 percent tax, these bastards will still embezzle the money.

Ah that is why we Nigerians need to realize that a democracy involves something called 'Participation'

Here in Nigeria, we seem to think that democracy means going to vote..and then going home

This is very condemnable project . Ogun State should be among the top 5 richest states in Nigeria due to its proximity to Lagos. So we can rule out paucity of funds.

These tricycles are not even durable and are already a nightmare on our roads. Their life span is less than one third of a conventional vehicle.

The tricycle can hardly reach top speed with being likely to crash.
Ambulances, like police vehicles are supposed to be sturdier than regular vehicles.
These tricycles have a higher rate of fatality in the case of an accident.

As for the clown asking people to pay more taxes, what has been done with the taxes that were paid?
Why are our politicians driving the latest models of exotic cars as official vehicles?

I am not impressed by these kind of project especially in a state like Ogun.

We may not have tried higher taxes but when crude oil was selling at it's all time highs during the Jonathan administration things were still as shitty as it can be.... what's more to democracy than elected leaders doing the god-damned job they were voted to do and manage the resources well to achieve results. Your higher taxes argument is a weak ass argument.
